Houston County Interagency Transition Council
This Interagency Transition Council consists of approximately 15-20 agencies, organizations, and institutions that provide services, work with, or are a resource for individuals with disabilities and their families. The council provides information on local resources to families, students, teachers, and the community. Their annual Transition Fair hosts agencies that can provide information on their services as well as sessions on various important topics. An Employer Appreciation breakfast is held to honor those that hire individuals with disabilities each year.
Meetings are every fourth Thursday of the month from 8:30 - 10 AM. Locations vary.
